Mission
The American Refugee Committee works with refugees, displaced people, and those at risk to help them survive crises and rebuild lives of dignity, health, security and self-sufficiency.

Programs
Each year ARC serves nearly 2.5 million refugees and displaced people in Africa and Asia. We work with our constituents to provide clean water, sanitation, shelter, health care, gender-based violence prevention services, microenterprise development, disease prevention services, education, legal services, counseling and repatriation assistance. ARC has 2,000 employees, 95% of whom are hired locally.
