Hero's Journey

Allegro Con Brio will present “A Hero’s Journey”, a free concert featuring Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony in celebration of the composer’s birthday in December 2012 at MacPhail Center for Music. We will be performing as the original audience would have heard it – on period instruments.

The event will include visual art about hero's journeys, and also an educational speaker about personal transformations.

Allegro Con Brio is a professional orchestra that brings together the Twin Cities' top orchestra musicians who perform concert events in a multi dimensional format and in a historically informed style, on period instruments. Allegro Con Brio performs free concert events that focus on the impact that music has on people’s physical & emotional health. In addition, Allegro Con Brio serves as orchestra-in-residence at the Allegro Orchestra Camp sponsored by MacPhail Center for Music.
