Alexandria Seaport Foundation builds lives. We inspire young people and empower them to reach their human potential.

Through the building and use of wooden boats, the Alexandria Seaport Foundation helps at-risk youth turn their lives around, providing them the job skills, social skills, and educational tools needed to become responsible citizens.

It costs $25,000 to put one apprentice through our seven-month program. The success of ASF programs depends upon contributions and donations from corporations, foundations, and individual donors.

    I am going on as a new Board Member. I have done a little fund raising for ASF by selling raffle tickets for a row boat, I have been a hostess for a monthly coffee. I look forward to being on the board and helping to make a difference. I am impressed with the 75 percent success rate ASF has with the kids.
