"I have the desire to contribute effectively towards the welfare and the development of the nations as a whole." -Albert Albert is currently a sophomore at the University of Ghana, Legon, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. Albert is a native of Wiaga, a district of the Upper West Region of Ghana and was born on April 27, 1987. His father has several wives and roughly twenty-five children. Albert believes that education is the only way out of poverty and he will do whatever it takes to educate himself in order to help his family break the cycle of poverty. To visit Albert's blog go to: http://albertallnations.blogspot.com Albert needs 10 sponsors to cover his expenses for the 2009-2010 academic year. Each sponsor invests $25/month for one year. To become a sponsor you may email Albert's advocate, Debra, a rising sophomore at Harvard: dchang@allnationseducation.org. You may also donate to Albert's scholarship on this webpage. All Nations Education is completely volunteer run by college students and recent graduates. Of your $25, $5 goes to creating new scholarships, supporting our college groups in their fundraising efforts, and covering basic administration expenses such as our email server. $20 goes directly to the scholar to cover tuition and basic living expenses. Once Albert's scholarship is funded, any additional money will be used to fund other scholarships. Please don't hesitate to email Debra with any questions or concerns.
