Agree Performance - Intergenerational Dance Project
Annie Rudnik fundraising for LINKS HALL INCORORATED
Agree Performance brings together performers, ages 17 through "young at heart." Finding the movement of breath, we discover each other.
We Hope, Conspire
An Intergenerational Dance Project by Annie Rudnik and Agree Performance.
In this moment in time, when the gap between the young and old has expanded with quick moving technology, political rhetoric, and ageist media; with societal historic amnesia, changing customs, and greater use of nursing homes concentrating the aging population amongst themselves, Agree Performance wishes to bridge that gap with the one thing we all have in common...our bodies.
Agree Performance brings together 18 performers ranging in ages 17 through "young at heart." Beginning with the movement of breath, we discover our bodies. We search for connection; within ourselves, within our community, and within the unknown.
Agree Performance’s intergenerational dance pulls from improvisation, contemporary dance, social dance and Vaudeville to create a work that is wholly original and intensely thoughtful.
After a 6 month process of feeling, searching, laughing, and creating we are performing our works for audiences across Chicago.
Please help us pay for transporation, costumes, props, and performers.
Thank you for your generosity!
