Our Mission-

In order to win the battle against infectious diseases that plague the developing world, we inform individuals and groups of the greatest challenge our world faces, the need for safe drinking water. We cultivate a greater understanding of how lacking accessible clean water threatens the very core of individuals, leading not only to the demise of their health, but also exhausting their time, energy, and financial potential. We fulfill our mission by creating a vocal platform built from athletic quests that attract overwhelming interest and media exposure. We then convert that attention into inspiring and equipping others to give of their resources, commitment, and voice to bring clean water projects to where ever needed.

Team Active:Water is a group of individual athletes all over the world who share two passions; being fit and saving lives!

Through vigorous training, competitive participation, and compassionate advocacy, our team members fullfill their dreams of athletic conquests knowing that every drop of sweat from their own personal sacrifice is leading to a richer, fuller life for another. This mission is accomplished through the funding of clean water solutions for communities in developing nations all over the world through Active:Water, a non-profit organization that specializes in combining love of endurance challenges with a strong passion for providing the most basic of needs, safe drinking water.

Simply put, because these athletes are willing to perform at their best, share the story of 1.1 billion people who lack access to safe drinking water with their friends, and challenge others to make a difference on their behalf, countless lives will be changed and thousands of lives will be saved!

If you are not passionate about sports, that's okay. Active:Water has a place for you. Consider joining us as a volunteer in one of our many grassroots efforts where you can assist at events, lead a campaign among your friends, or bring awareness to large groups through your school, church, or other civic groups. We'd love to equip you to serve others through whatever your passions may be.

Active:Water has partnered with our long time friends, Blood:Water Mission, to help transform the communities of Zambia, Africa with clean water solutions, improved sanitation, hygeine training, and HIV/AIDS treatment. Zambia, like most of Africa, is in desperate need of fresh water wells. Water-related diseases account for nearly 80% of all natural deaths in Africa each year. Countless women and children walk upwards of 6 to 8 miles each day to fetch water that isn't even safe to drink, causing hundreds of thousands of young girls to miss school and the chance to improve their future. We believe that water should not be considered a luxury item in this life, but available to all. We ask you to partner with us in giving sacrificially, so that our African friends can live life more fully, and that others may join us in seeing their dignity and God-given worth.
