Those of you who know me know how much soccer has meant to me throughout my life. I've been playing since I was a kid and still play today. I've always taken for granted my "right to play", but a lot of children aren't so lucky.

The non-profit I worked with this summer, love.fútbol, provides financial and technical support to small communities that are willing to organize and put in the hard work to build a field. They specifically target small communities that completely lack any safe, flat place to kick a ball. Children in these communities literally have nowhere to go that they can safely play together.

I've seen first-hand the way that a love.fútbol field can change a community. It is a town center, a source of collective pride and a catalyst other positive changes. This is why I am still involved with love.fútbol.

I'm going to get the ball rolling with a donation and I'll hope you'll join me.
