AADC March of Hope Florida
A project of PEDIATRIC NEUROTRANSMITTER DISEASE ASSOCIATION INC
Please sponsor our 3K (1.86 mi) walk March 6, 2010, at Sports & Field, Wesley Chapel, Fl. Each step is for a cure!
In 2004, when Sydney & Delaini were diagnosed with AADC, there were only 24 other cases of this disorder in the WORLD! We were shocked, scared and didn’t know what to expect. There still are not many answers.
We were given the news that AADC Deficiency is a rare genetically inherited brain disease. It manifests in infancy as a severe movement disorder with developmental delay, making it next to impossible to do even the simplest of tasks. Response to current treatments is disappointing. Children with AADC Deficiency suffer profound and life threatening disabilities.
Today there are approximately 70 cases and it has claimed the lives of 10 children. We need your help now.
Thank you for taking the time to walk or sponsor our cause and help give these kids a chance. Every dollar makes a difference and your efforts to help us raise money for a cure are so appreciated.
For further information on AADC, please visit: aadcresearch.org and pndassoc.org .
Thank you for your kindness.
Sincerely,
Nancy Bruno
