We want to build an awesome 3-sided climbing tower for 55 cute little Bolivianos that live at the Bolivia Life Center!
My story begins last summer when I first started thinking about going on a mission trip with my church - National Community Church. I never quite found the right fit until this summer when I saw the bulletin for the upcoming trips. I randomly opened up the booklet to somewhere in the middle and the very first trip description I read was about this trip to Bolivia over New Years. It said we were going to go hiking, backpacking, and that we were going to build a climbing tower! Could a mission trip be any cooler?
I LOVE the outdoors and I LOVE to build things so I was pretty much signed up as soon as I read the description. The next neon-flashing sign telling me to go was the cost of the trip ($1600). I say that because I had been setting aside money for the past year for no particular reason. Well, wouldn't you know that account had exactly $1600 in it. I am not lying! So, I really believe God has made it clear that I should be on this trip.
I can pay for the trip but our costs are in the several thousands. We actually have an American company that is donating their time and labor which is a huge blessing. We still need to pay for lots and lots of building materials and supplies. That is where you all come in! Any donation is greatly appreciated. It doesn't matter the size. I know that you care by the fact that you decided to support me in this endeavor.
I am really excited about this trip and I can't wait to share about all of the cool experiences the team has while in Bolivia. Feel free to email or call me to ask about the trip.
Thanks for your prayers and your donations! They mean the world to me.
