In support of RMU's VETS Emergency Fund, which supports student veterans and their families by providing vital services and assistance.

"Dr. Daniel Rota and Heather Jericho of the VETS Center have been my rock in my educational experience, keeping me up-to-date on changes in the VA system. Through their work, they provide a warm and welcoming home on campus for all student veterans who pass through RMU's front gate. To me they have been nothing but helpful and considerate through my transition from the battlefield to the classroom. They've made navigating the admissions process and VA System as seamless as possible, allowing me to focus on learning instead of my financial situation."

– Charles "Chase" Thomas, senior Biology (pre-med) major, served two tours in Iraq (2004-08) as a machine gun section leader in the 1st Battalion, 2nd Marines, Charlie Company

As a military-friendly school, we take great pride in helping our student veterans who have given so much through their service to our country. We strive to provide veterans with a quality, life-changing education, while at the same time helping them bridge the financial gap between their benefits and the cost of education. That's why we participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program, offer a Military Service Award, and have the Veterans Education and Training Services (VETS) Center as a resource for student veterans on campus. The VETS Emergency Fund in particular provides much needed scholarship support for veterans and their families.

Here at RMU, we believe that providing a superior private education is the least we can do for our veterans. But we can't do it without your help. Through your gift you enable us to continue providing our military veterans with an excellent education and vital financial assistance. Your generosity enables us to help with everything from buying meal plans and books, to paying rent and providing funds for food. It also supports important scholarships for veterans and their families.

Thank you in advance for your support our RMU's student veterans.
