40th Anniversary Celebration

Our Bodies Ourselves is celebrating its 40th anniversary and donations, which is an amazing accomplishment. I count myself among the thousands of women who were changed by the book, Our Bodies, Ourselves. I read the Our Bodies, Ourselves for the first time in college and still remember what an impression it made, something I cannot say for all the textbooks that I read.

I suspect the tendency is to think of Our Bodies, Ourselves as a book that benefiits women, but I urge you to support this not only for the girls and women in your lives, but also for the boys and men whose lives are touched by women.

To honor this milestone, Our Bodies Ourselves are organizing a public anniversary event in Boston on October 1, 2011. The organization is inviting inspiring women from around the world who carry on in the OBOS tradition. Your contribution will make this event possible.
