4GGL envisions a world where every girl’s inherent worth and leadership potential is recognized, providing girls the opportunity to empower themselves and change their world. We created 4GGL because this is only a dream for millions of poor girls. From aborting baby girls and acid attacks to child marriage and sex trafficking, girls are NOT valued in many societies. Their fundamental human rights are violated everyday.

4GGL's mission is to ignite, cultivate, and promote girls' leadership development locally in poor countries, to advance gender equity globally. 4GGL is also a bold social change movement to value and invest in the world's poorest girls, tackling the root of gender inequity, not just the symptoms of poverty and injustice the girls suffer.

Knowing that girls are not valued in poor countries and thus, leadership development for them is unknown or too costly, 4GGL has developed an innovative, cost effective "glocal" delivery method - global model for local action - to make it possible for poor girls. In brief, 4GGL partners with community organizations and schools to train and mentor local trainers serving the girls in poor countries using a multi-generational women's leadership model. This has generated requests from over 25 organizations across the Arab World, South Asia and Africa, giving us the means to reach 500,000 girls, right now.
