On October 15 I turn 30.

To make this significant event for me have a significant impact on my community, I am asking everyone I know to donate $30 to Crisis Ministries for my 30th birthday.

Crisis Ministries does AMAZING work through their Emergency Shelter, Homeless Health Clinic, Veterans Programs, Homeless Employment and Learning Program (HELP Center), and Homeless Justice Project. Crisis Ministries operates the only program in South Carolina for homeless female veterans.

It costs $10k to run their facility for one night, and that's how much I want to raise by the night I turn 30.

If you don't have $30 now, do you have $10 to give this month, in September, and again by October 15th?

• 200,000 meals provided annually
• $3.5 million budget

Emergency Shelter Stats:

• Men’s Shelter: 70 Emergency Shelter Beds & 14 Male Veteran Beds
• Family Center: 30 Emergency Shelter Beds & 10 Female Veteran Beds
• Transitional Living Center: 4 bedroom house for up to 4 families
• Total Nightly Capacity: 135
• Daily Soup Kitchen Average: 185 meals
