I want to help others enjoy life like I have by living life to the fullest potential for health and happiness.
Every year I take on a personal athletic challenge that is a little harder and out of box than I have the year before. I have climbed Denali, Aconcagua and Kilimanjaro. I have finished Lotoja 5 times, two Ironman races, and two 100 mile trail run races. Before every race or adventure I try to find a quiet corner to say a quick prayer to thank God that I have the ability to live, see and experience the world the way I do. In these moments I am overcome with joy and gratitude that I live the life I live.
This year I have a chance to create more opportunity for others to see and live life to the fullest. I have already raised $7,000 "offline" for the Michael Carter Lisnow Respite Center. I don't need any contributions to "qualify" to run the Boston Marathon. But I do want to share the opportunity to support the organization I am running for that works hard to help people who do with difficulty the things many of us do so easily.
If you have gratitude for the life you have lived and want to "share the joy and love of life" with disabled children and adults, please consider making a contribution. Large amounts are not required, Any amount and every contribution helps, is important and matters. Thank you.
