2009 Year End Giving Campaign
A project of CHILDREN'S LAW CENTER OF MINNESOTA
Children’s Law Center of Minnesota (CLC) has been providing direct legal representation, support, and advocacy to foster children through volunteer attorneys since 1995. CLC only represents a fraction of the thousands of foster children in Minnesota. They ALL deserve quality representation!
Because of abusive and/or neglectful parents, children are taken from their homes and find themselves entangled in a confusing and complicated legal system. At the age of 10, children have the right to a court-appointed attorney and many judges appoint CLC to represent the foster children that come before them.
However, because of limited capacity CLC is not able to represent all foster children. We need your help now to put the pieces together so our foster children do not fall through the cracks!
Your donation will support CLC’s efforts to recruit, train, and support volunteer attorneys so that CLC can expand it’s representation to provide more foster children the justice they deserve.
