About Me:

My name is Alesha Harris and I am a counseling psychology doctoral student at Boston College. I grew up in Holbrook, MA and I currently reside in Dorchester, MA. I am truly ecstatic to be running my first marathon for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester. Your donation will help thousands of kids paint a brighter future for themselves and their community.

About the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester:

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester seeks to inspire and enable all young people from diverse circumstances, to realize their full potential by providing opportunities for personal growth to become contributing, caring and responsible members of the community. Of the 4,000 youth they serve about two-thirds of the members live in low/moderated income homes. Nearly 25% of the members’ families live on less than $14,000 a year.

From homework help and tutoring to music lessons, basketball and everything in between, the programs help kids thrive today and develop the skills they need to succeed in adulthood.
