What's the play about?
Like all great comedies, [Something clever goes here.] is a farcical romp, and, like all great entertainment, it's a musical! In[Something...], all-too-familiar archetypes justify their way into a love quadrangle reminiscent of the bedroom buffoonery of the classical comedies of Moliere. But in this incarnation, the characters express themselves through the musical stylings of Lady Gaga and Ke$ha to an 18th century beat. A true-to-life story, the tensions (sexual and otherwise) rise as these larger-than-life personas combine their sundry, debatable talents in an effort to produce an opera. Conflicts come to a head at the masked ball following opening night, and by the cold light of the morning after, all reconstruct the multifaceted truths of what occurred the night before.

Who's in the play?
Such a bold undertaking involves brave spirits: Ben Gansky, Isabel Nelson, Anna Reichert, Cody Sorensen, and ourselves, Joanna Harmon and Ally Carey. Music will be played and arranged by Alden Gatt, a fellow collaborator and recent graduate of the Eastman School of Music. We are tickled at the prospect before us, and we think you will be tickled with the results!
