Welcome to the iMentor 2010 Online Donor Drive
Through facilitating high-impact mentoring relationships, iMentor is transforming the lives of thousands of underserved youth each day. But we can't do it alone. The Online Donor Drive is a fun and easy way to help iMentor, by spreading the word about our programs while helping us expand our fundraising efforts.
The Online Donor Drive empowers iMentor volunteers to raise funds that allow us to continue to deliver our high-impact programs. Mentors use Razoo to create personalized fundraising pages telling their stories about their relationship with their mentees. Through these pages, friends and family can help mentors reach their fundraising goals by making online donations to iMentor. iMentor provides individualized support to all fundraisers, helping them reach and even exceed their personal goals.
Despite a struggling economy, last year's Online Donor Drive raised over $36,000. iMentor volunteers reached far and wide bringing in donations from 526 people in 24 states and Canada, and proving that small gifts can make a tremendous impact. This year iMentor is supporting 1,200 life-changing mentor-mentee relationships. Our volunteers are the driving force behind our work and with the participation of 1,200 dedicated mentors, we know that 2010 will be a record-breaking year.

About iMentor
iMentor is a high-impact, school-based organization whose mission is to improve the lives of young people from underserved communities in New York City through innovative, technology-based approaches to mentoring. We aim to serve as a catalyst for a National Mentoring Movement. Our vision is to see all youth connected to adult role models who will motivate and guide them through high school, college and beyond.
Created in 1999, iMentor began with 49 students in a single school in the South Bronx. Just ten years later, we now serve 1,200 high school students and have matched and supported a total of 7,000 mentor-mentee pairs (14,000 participants), partnering with more than 30 schools located in some of the most underserved and economically-disadvantaged communities in New York City. With the support of our dedicated mentor community, iMentor creates relationships that change the trajectory of mentees lives.
