Overview of Role:The VP of Business Development will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships for Razoo's social giving platform. Your job will be instrumental in helping individuals and nonprofits raise money and in assisting donors to make a difference through giving.

Razoo is a well-funded startup that is willing to invest in the right talent and technologies to get to market quickly without sacrificing quality. We are looking for a smart, well-connected VP of Business Development to develop and lead our overall strategy.
You will be successful at Razoo by:
- Spearheading business development initiatives that are consistent with the company's overall strategy
- Prioritizing and focusing on the highest value opportunities
- Bringing with you C/VP level relationships with potential partners and building new ones
- Managing multiple business initiatives and channels in a start-up environment
- Managing contract negotiation and working with legal counsel as required
- Driving revenue generation through strategic partnerships
- Being an active voice in the overall Razoo strategy as a member of the executive team
Required skills:
- 10+ years of business development experience in development large-scale partnerships
- Creative problem solver with a keen sense of how to prioritize in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Strategic thinker, with a strong track record of success
- Experience/interest in the social good space and desire to apply your skills to meaningful work
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Aggressive, well connected with a large Rolodex
- Ability to rapidly close deals and manage to success
- A Bachelors degree required with an MBA preferred

Software Engineer - Ruby on Rails

Razoo is a well-funded startup that is willing to invest in the right talent and technologies to get to market quickly without sacrificing quality. We are looking for smart Rails developers who understand Ruby and Rails under the hood. We need developers who are appropriately opinionated about the “right way” to engineer software systems and code in Rails.
You will be successful at Razoo by:
- Designing and writing high performance, elegant, and reliable code for both the front-end/UI and back-end of our web platform
- Problem solving and having the intellectual curiosity to find technical solutions that are the quickest and easiest to build, yet also the most robust
- Keeping up-to-date on the latest tools and trends
- Working collaboratively with a team of developers, business personnel, QA team members, and creative designers
- Working cross-functionally in software development (i.e. full Rails stack), but bringing particular strength in Rails best-practices
- Taking the initiative to improve development, testing, measurement and deployment processes
- Possessing the drive to consistently deliver results, being disciplined to work on your own with light supervision
Required skills:
- Excellent problem solving skills
- 3+ years Ruby on Rails experience
- 5+ years MVC web framework experience
- 8+ years web software development experience
- Solid background in dynamic object oriented languages (Ruby, Python, etc)
- OO Design, MVC architecture, unit/acceptance testing, and refactoring
- Agile development processes and good track record of teamwork
- Git and/or other version control systems
- Strong familiarity with *nix shell environments (especially OSX, Linux)
Desired skills:
- Contributions to the Rails core, or to significant open source projects (e.g. gems and plugins)
- Active participation in the Rails community
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, jQuery
- 3rd party API integration (REST, SOAP, etc)
