Guiding Catholic Students on their journey of human, spiritual and intellectual formation.
Today, Minnesota State University has roughly 15,000 students at the Mankato campus, with an estimated 5,000 of those students being Catholic! The St. Thomas More Catholic Newman Center remains a hub of positive campus activity – a place where Catholic students of every age and from all over the world – come together to worship, receive the sacraments, discover the Catholic tradition, discern vocations, attend life-altering retreats, participate in service-oriented ministries and give time and talent to assist the poor and hungry. These are but a few of the opportunities for formation, study, mentoring and action that are offered regularly at the St. Thomas More Catholic Newman Center. As Catholics, it is our responsibility to build the Church on campus. We must sustain the vital contributions to intellectual, moral and spiritual growth that campus ministry provides for young people. The goal of the St. Thomas More Catholic Newman Center is to continue to build up the Body of Christ in our Church and our world.
