REACH for Resources was created in 1980 as a Twin Cities west-metro neighborhood support center for families trying to avoid institutional placement for their children with developmental disabilities. Our focus has since evolved to providing direct support services that promote the self-sufficiency and overall well-being of our clients. Services offered include:

  • Independent Community Living Support: Our Community Living Specialists help adults with disabilities live successfully in the setting of their choice.
  • Mental Health Support: Reach mental health professionals are specially trained to provide counseling, mental health service coordination and support groups to children and adults with both a developmental disability and a mental health diagnosis.
  • Therapeutic Adaptive Recreation: Socialization, good physical health, and a sense of community belonging is crucial to the well-being of our clients. Reach offers a wide variety of adaptive athletics and therapeutic leisure programs to meet those needs.

Our services empower people with disabilities to maximize their independence and live their lives to the fullest.
