PROP's mission is to compassionately provide neighbors in need with food & financial assistance & to provide support toward self sufficiency

PROP is a multi-service organization serving children, families, and adults in Eden Prairie and Chanhassen. Staff and volunteers partner with community members in need to assist with their self-sufficiency goals. PROP operates a food shelf, provides emergency services and offers short-term case management to qualified participants. Since it began in 1971, PROP's mission has been supported primarily through contributions generously provided by local businesses, civic organizations, churches, schools, and individuals.

    We have been giving to Second Harvest and will continue to do so, but will split our donations between PROP and Second Harvest after learning that local needs are not always met through Second Harvest alone.
