NORTHEAST COMMUNITY BAND

Welcome to the home of the Northeast Community Band! We are in our 12th season!!! For a dozen years now our mission has still been the same. Come one and all and play. We gather Thursday nights during the school year, adults and teens, to play marches, show tunes and other classic selections for wind band. We practice from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Northeast Middle School in Minneapolis and perform several concerts from September through June. Most members have renewed their passion after a hiatus of several years, and some have recently taken up playing as adults. There are no auditions. Though student musicians should consult with our Director. Dues are $60 annually for adults and you can pay as you go, within reason. We offer a three-rehearsal “trial period” at no cost. Junior high and high school students are free.
