Thirty years ago Bob and Sandy Kreischer stood on the edge of a dream. They were within days of opening their school, Mounds Park Academy. After a nail-biting end to fundraising andenrollment, the first day of school finally arrived – September 7, 1982. 110 students from kindergarten to 9th
grade walked through the door with 22 staff and faculty welcoming them to an adventure in the joy of learning.
We wonder, do you remember the moment you knew MPA was the best possible place for your child? Or your grandchild? The success of Mounds Park Academy rests on
the shoulders of people just like you – those that sought out a truly experiential innovative education for their children. MPA has thrived for 26 classes of graduates (in 2012). We are so grateful for the trust so many parents, grandparents, alumni, and family and friends have placed in Mounds Park Academy.
Our mission is simple: We teach students to think independently, communicate effectively and act with respect and integrity in a diverse community that models intellectual ambition, global responsibility and the joy of learning.
All donations are received and receipted by Razoo Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) charity that operates a donor advised fund to fulfill donor advisements.
