MINNESOTA-URUGUAY PARTNERS OF THE AMERICAS

For more than 40 years, Women and men from all walks of life--artists, architects, businesspeople, environmentalists, farmers, foresters, government officials, lawyers, teachers, veterinarians--have become members of the Minnesota-Uruguay Partners (MUP) family.

This past year alone we have hosted visits by more than 20 Uruguayans while sending 15 Minnesotans to learn from our friends to the south. In the process, we shared information about Sustainable Housing, Judcial System Reform, Art, Agriculture, Education, Business and much, much more.

The big news is that we have facilitated a reciprocity agreement between the U of M and the National University of Uruguay. Now we need to raise funds to help more Minnesota undergraduate students experience Uruguay. The MUP Board is putting up $1,000 as a challenge match to encourage you to give. Help us raise $2,000 to fund travel scholarships for Minnesota students!
