MOCA is dedicated to raising awareness and funding the research needed to detect ovarian cancer early and treat it properly.

Thank you for considering the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance on Give to the Max Day 2011!

The Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA) is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness, providing support to women and families impacted by ovarian cancer and funding the research needed to detect it early and treat it properly.

MOCA was founded in 1999 by a small group of ovarian cancer survivors. Since then, MOCA has grown to an organization of more than 800 survivors and more than 40,000 donors and active members with a full range of programs encompassing education, support and research. MOCA has awarded nearly $3 million to research projects for ovarian cancer research in Minnesota.

Help us do even more with your Give to the Max Day Donation!

MOCA's Mission:

  • Raise awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer

  • Create and promote resources for support, networking and education of women diagnosed with ovarian cancer and their families

  • Unite and educate individuals, the medical community and organizations to achieve earlier diagnosis, better treatment and a cure for ovarian cancer

  • Advance ovarian cancer research toward earlier diagnosis, better treatment and a cure
