Give to the Max Day donations will help us:

• Reach out to new and diverse voices.
• Support our strong civility-based discussion model that encourages community building and civic engagement.
• Improve the support and training we provide to forum participants and our dedicated volunteers.
• Share our lessons openly and widely and help new communities get started with the effective Issue Forum model.
• Host forums in an independent, neutral manner using ever-improving open source technology not reliant on advertising-based technologies or less desirable privacy or copyright practices.

90% of our operating costs are covered by volunteers and donated resources. Your donation leverages these assets to promote online civic engagement across our many diverse communities.

E-Democracy.org currently serves 15 communities with over 25 Issues Forums across three countries (US, UK, and New Zealand). With a majority of those communities in Minnesota, and a growing network of neighborhood forums in Minneapolis and St. Paul, we seek to serve all interested communities.
