To provide access to education, clean water, health care, and economic opportunity.

Programs

1. Conduct short-term mission trips to the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Kenya (more than 550 North Americans participated in 2007)2. Operate a school alliance providing support for the education of over 1,200 children in the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Kenya.3. Operate one year round medical clinic with one or two more expected to open in 2008.4. Participated in the establishment of three safe, affordable clean water distribution systems in the Dominican Republic. Two more are planned for 2008, one in Haiti and one in the Dominican Republic.5. Implement disease-prevention programs for HIV, malaria and leprosy in the Dominican Republic and Haiti.6. Expand the nursing trips to include more US nursing schools and develop long-term care plans for patients in the Dominican Republic communities served.
