As founders and directors of Family Link, Mariah and Chris Wilde became foster parents 15 years ago, and have since opened their home to many abused and neglected children and teens. Mariah has been a child advocate for 18 years, is the Executive Director of FamilyLink as well as a national speaker for the COMMIT conferences and Women Help Centers. To address the children’s crisis in Texas they founded FamilyLink, and since March 2006 have placed hundreds of children in loving, therapeutic licensed foster and/or adoptive homes.

Our vision is the restoration of broken lives and families. Many children have suffered severe physical, sexual and emotional abuse and neglect. They need a new beginning and a family to help heal the traumas they have suffered during their young lives. We want to replace the heritage of abandonment and abuse with the legacy of hope and love. Children’s tears will be wiped, they will be held and comforted, and God will heal their broken hearts. The children that come into our care will be cherished and valued, and we want them to know that God has an incredible purpose and plan for their life.
