Family Alternatives is committed to helping children living in foster care develop the necessary skills to launch into adulthood successfully. Children and Teens are at the center of all we do here at Family Alternatives. We believe YOUTH play the lead role in THEIR own life story.THEIR voice and opinions are an important piece of all team planning that happens related to THEIR life and relationships while they are living in foster care. We make every effort to help children and teens placed in our homes: •Make connections with other youth in foster care •Have opportunities for leadership •Receive strong supports and advocacy •Develop healthy, committed relationships with positive adults •Strengthen and heal important relationships •Create a positive vision for their future
