We foster environmental stewardship and community sustainability through education about eagles and the Upper Mississippi River environment.

We offer engaging and educational eagle programs, each featuring a live eagle, at our interpretive center in Wabasha, Minnesota. The National Eagle Center is home to five rescued eagles, four bald eagles and one golden eagle, representing the two eagle species found in North America.

Our landmark interpretive center, right on the banks of the Mississippi River offers exceptional views of the river valley and the chance to view wild eagles from our observation deck. Two floors of displays and exhibts highlight eagles' biology, ecology, as well as the eagle in history and culture.

While all the birds there are special, Angel has an extra special place in our hearts.
