CCC fosters world peace by creating young leaders in the U.S. and abroad who can embrace their roles as global citizens together.

Children’s Culture Connection is dedicated to fostering world peace by creating young leaders in the U.S. and abroad who can embrace their roles as teachers, students and global citizens together.

Believing that children are the future problem solvers in every community, Children’s Culture Connection creates unique educational programs that help kids learn from, celebrate and connect with one another. We also provide opportunities for children participating in our programs to become leaders, and to make a positive difference in the world … wherever their world may be.

Children’s Culture Connection’s summer day camps and school-based programs offer American students a unique opportunity to learn about life beyond our borders by establishing peer relationships in developing or war-torn countries and, ultimately, taking action to effect positive change in the lives of these new-found friends.

  • Curriculum: Working with middle-school-age students, we create and implement educational programs and activities that teach children about culture in 12 different countries.
  • Connection: Working with our partner charities that serve at-risk children in these 12 countries, American students connect with children abroad, who in turn participate in the international end of the programs.
  • Community Service: Students explore social injustice issues that their international friends deal with, and then take action to help them create positive social change from within their communities.

“If we can personalize the world for young people, they will become more aware and informed about current events and other cultures, increasing their ability to participate successfully in our multi-cultural world.” -Minnesota International Center
