We provide toy-filled birthday gift bags so that parents living in poverty can give their child a birthday gift.

Imagine being a six-year-old child and your birthday is today. However, there are no birthday presents, balloons or even a birthday card waiting for you. Then imagine being the parent of that child and because you are struggling to feed your family, there is no way you can afford to buy even a small birthday gift for your child.

We believe that birthday celebrations instill self-esteem and strengthen family bonds. That's why Cheerful Givers provides toy-filled gift bags for children who are living in poverty on their birthday. Children like Susan who didn't know she had a birthday until she was seven and received a Cheerful Givers birthday gift bag from her Mom.

With the help of wonderful volunteers, we made sure the birthdays of 52,227 disadvantaged children were not forgotten last year, but we need your help to do more because one in every five children across the country is now living in poverty. We ask you to help more kids find out that they, too, are special.

Each gift of $100 will bring birthday joy to ten children, and I'm sure you agree, every child deserves a Happy Birthday!
