Your donation enables Cancer Legal Line to provide pro bono legal help to Minnesota cancer survivors at a critical time in their lives.

Imagine......

• Being a cancer survivor facing job loss and consequently, loss of health insurance. Where do you turn for help in quelling your fears about finding new insurance with a pre-existing condition of cancer?

• Being the parent of a child with leukemia. Because of mounting medical bills not covered by insurance and unpaid time off from work, your family is wondering if bankruptcy is your only option?

• Having a loved one in hospice who has never made a will. Is there an attorney who can come to their bedside and help them make their will?

Providing help with these and other legal issues at no charge is what Cancer Legal Line does everyday for Minnesotans affected by cancer regardless of gender, county of residence or type of cancer.

  • Without access to needed legal help, the many issues faced by cancer survivors can lead to a downward spiral.
  • With access to information, resources and legal services, these issues can be met head on.
