100% of all dollars donated go to the direct benefit of the animals that stay at our shelter. Every dollar counts! Thank You!
The mission of the Brown County Humane Society is the protection and welfare of animals through education, sanctuary, adoption and promotion of responsible ownership.
We are a non-profit organization located in New Ulm, Minnesota. We provide a valuable service to the Brown County area by sheltering and placing lost and unwanted animals. Our main focus is working with dogs, puppies, cats & kittens that are found in Brown County.
Nominal adoption fees are charged to cover the cost of medical attention needed by the pets. This includes the cost for spaying or neutering the animals. No time limits are set on our pets that are awaiting adoption.
Our shelter is staffed completely by Volunteers. These dedicated individuals arrive each day to care for the pets at the shelter. Our Volunteers are a diverse group and we are so thankful for their help! In addition, we are greatful to those individuals and businesses that assist us through monetary donations or other donations. We could not succeed without the help & assistance of everyone involved!
