The Belwin Conservancy's members help us preserve the St. Croix, restore native ecosystems and inspire our connection to the natural world.

Before the end of 2011, we need your help to Protect the Trout of Valley Creek!

The Belwin Conservancy and our members are working to preserve the St. Croix River through land conservation, scientifically-based ecological restoration, and by building connections between people and the natural world. Our nearly 1,400 acre preserve includes oak savanna and woodlands, tallgrass prairie, wetlands and fens. It is home to numerous rare and threatened plants and animals and is a place that thousands visit every year.

Since 1971, Belwin Outdoor Science has been welcoming students of the Saint Paul Public Schools to our preserve. Over 10,000 students visit Belwin every year. For many, their time here is their first real exposure to nature and informs a lifetime of choices.

The Belwin Conservancy also maintains a network of public walking and hiking trails so that anyone can take advantage of the peace and tranquility of this special place. During the summer months, the public is also encouraged to visit our bison observation platform and take in a panoramic view of a 150 acre restored prairie and the herd of bison that call the prairie home.

The Belwin Conservancy is a nonprofit organization. We need your help to continue our work protecting the landscape and wildlife of this area. Please become a member today and help us inspire our connection to the natural world.

Please visit our website: belwin.org, where there is much more information about the Belwin Conservancy and our work.

Membership

Through their annual support, Belwin Conservancy members make it possible for us to do our work protecting and restoring land and inspiring thousands of visitors every year.

All members are invited to regular seasonal events at the Belwin Conservancy to enjoy this irreplaceable spot. Members who join at the Supporting ($100) level or above are also invited to take part in special tours and workshops to thank them for their extra commitment. Many of these tours take place on the Bison Buggy, our custom-built vehicle designed to tour with the bison and around the preserve.

You can join the Belwin Conservancy right now at GiveMN. You can also make your donation in installments and you will be credited for your total annual gift immediately!

You are the best kept secret on Stagecoach Trail. Need to let residents of the area, visitors and passersby know where you are.

It's hard to find how to become a member. Of course it doesn't help that the site is a little slow to respond too.

I work at the Belwin Conservancy and I know that we are making a difference every day. That's why I'm willing to contribute back to this organization.

A great mission in a significant landscape--and a fun place to be a kid!
