SUMMARY
4GGL envisions a world where every girl's inherent worth and leadership potential is recognized, providing every girl the opportunity to empower herself and change her world. We launched 4GGL in 2008 because this is only a dream for millions of girls. From female infanticide, child marriage, female genital mutilation to acid attacks by the Taliban, girls are NOT valued. Their rights are violated every day.
For 2010, we have targeted two critical areas: Pakistan with the lowest girls’ school enrollment in the world, further limited by the Taliban, and Nepal where over 10,000 girls annually are sold to the sex trade. Our goal is to impact 10,000 girls in Pakistan and 10,000 girls in Nepal.
Now, we need your action to raise $100,000 to fund both in-country girls’ leadership trainings and on-going mentorship for one year. We have partnered with local agencies to train their trainers and build their capacity. Most importantly, we will work with them to develop a community for girls, fostering change in the local attitudes and traditions that marginalize and deny the rights of girls. 4GGL is not just an organization. We have become the “glocal” social change movement to value and invest in the world's poorest girls.
We invite YOU to be part of this CHANGE. Become a 4GGL Charter Member, TODAY, for 20,000 girls! Your membership fee will go directly to our 2 in-country trainings.
We THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for girls!

Please check out this incredible organization! Jin is a friend of mine who has started this foundation to train partners in girls leadership development fostering community change in their local communities. This year's focus is on Pakistan- where there is the lowest enrollment by girls in schools worldwide, and Nepal- with one of the world's highest rates of human trafficking of girls. Check them out- You'll be glad you did!
